Mike Titchiner used to go caddying for the golfers at Verulam Golf course on Saturdays to earn some pocket money. On one memorable occasion he and his mates were asked to caddy for the evangelist Billy Graham and his party who was over from the USA.

What year are you talking about as you mentioned Charlie Harpin.My grandfather Charles caddied at the Verulam Golf club, could this they be the same person. Coincidently i lived with my grandparents at the top end of Abbotts ave west 1955-56 Moved to Thirlmere Drive off Drakes Drive and returned to Cottonmill in 1975 to live the last 45 years in Gotham drive.
